Built as the NORA EASTING
For the Flixborough Shipping Co Ltd.
Barge was built short for towing, [later lengthened], and was used for carrying coal on the Yorkshire waterways.
TIRLEY
Built 1973 by John Harker Ltd., Knottingley

Engine: Gardner LX 6cyl 110bhp
Built as the THEALBY
For the Flixborough Shipping Co Ltd.
Barge was built for carrying coal on the Yorkshire waterways

TIRLEY
Both barges were sold to Allied Mills Ltd in 1975, converted to carry grain with a self discharge mechanism fitted by R W Davis Shipyard, Saul, Gloucestershire.
