A ten year old boy was reported missing on Sunday evening after the alarm was raised at 20:00hrs that a young lad had fallen into the Severn at Arlingham, Gloucestershire. The emergency services including police, fire and the Severn Area Rescue Association, plus a police helicopter, searched the scene all through the night. The young boy had been playing with his two friends when he suddenly fell into deep water. They had tried in vain to rescue him.
This morning at 09:45hrs the body of the ten year old boy was found in the river about 400 yards from the Passage Inn at Arlingham.
