Plenty of Rain - No Floods!

Although Britain has had its fair share of rain for a month, local rivers remain below their danger levels. Not to be complacent though, the Environment Agency are monitoring levels hour by hour ready to issue a flood warning if necessary.

Is the Clywedog Dam doing its job? When a visit was made to the lake about two months ago the water level was extremely low. This is how it should be during September of each year, low so that it can take in the winter rains that fall heavily in the Plymlimon ranges.
