WATER WATER EVERYWHERE .....
Interactive displays and archive films across extensive galleries illustrate the fascinating stories of our waterways. Discover impressive facts about the ingenious engineering involved in the waterways system and learn about home life onboard a narrow boat. The wildlife of our canals and different kinds of waterways crafts are featured amongst the many other must - see delights of this unique attraction.
The Waterways Museum at Gloucester Docks is housed in an original Grade II listed warehouse. On the museum docksides, visitors can see and climb aboard a range of historic boats including the impressive steam dredger. There’s also the chance to take an optional boat trip on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal.

HOW TO FIND THE MUSEUM
Road: Exit junction 11a (southbound) or junction 12 (northbound) of the M5. Follow the brown tourist signs to Gloucester Docks.
Rail: From Gloucester Railway Station follow signs to Gloucester Docks.
10 minutes walk from the station.
