Elmbridge is a small suburb of Gloucester, some 2 miles NW from the city centre. A mainly residential area of 2,400 houses, 3 schools, 2 Public Houses (inns), 2 shops and a couple of small factories. The Severn Tales Weather Station is located in this residential area.
Because Gloucester is located in a bowl, with the Cotswold's on one side and the Malvern’s on the other, it does not get the extremes of weather other parts of the UK experience.
